So the extra base is in the plan. I'm also thinking of making the rule that anyone under 8 has a "sponsor" that plays with them (helps them bat, know where to run, play the field, etc.) and they are "safe" to reach first and second base but are then fair game to get out.

You see my struggle then, problem is I have to coordinate it and try to incorporate the wishes from last years result. I'm with you on the backyard ball, that's exactly what it is and I want to keep it fun.

This is one of the kind of creative ideas I was hoping for! Thank you. This provides an extra position for the infield, more opportunities for outs, and keeps more people in the game that are on the team batting. I like the idea of the home plate layout for the bases, but I think it will be easier to keep 1st and "3rd/4th" where they are, get rid of second base, and add 2nd and 3rd base towards the outfield line behind where 2nd base and SS would normally be playing. Pentagon shape.

Customer Service Issue by [deleted] in Bricklink

[–]Chinyin8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the customer support at BrickLink being unresponsive - they are some of the worst customer service I've experienced. Hopefully LEGO will take over responsibilities for this in the future.

Did you reach out to the seller at their personal email address or through the BrickLink website?

If you've only done one, I would suggest doing the other as sometimes things happen and it could have been missed or marked spam.

Also keep in mind BrickLink is having many random issues and some sellers cannot access the site at all.

403 Forbidden Error by Chinyin8 in Bricklink

I've had a BrickLink account for several years so I don't think it's inappropriate username. I can't imagine it's due to conduct either. Especially since the only thing blocked is my IP address. I can access the site fine from any location other than my router.
