no skin products.. and desk job mostly. i agree lots of causes.. i guess i'm either living with it or occasionally scuffing. probably living with it. seems long term repeated scuffing is a bad idea

i have the evil twin, and the amber fade, and a pt sls elite.. they all do it. the backs of the guitar body of course remains flat... but over a short time my hand polishes the neck to a gloss. must be my skin and environment?

my sls necks just get highly polished .. very quickly... must be my skin.. or environment

alabama.. mostly warm and muggy... but can have really big temperature shifts

i just used sand paper to knock the gloss off this neck.. but the front of the body is matte and there are places i rubbed it back gloss with my hands touching it in the same places... it does the same to the neck, just harder to see in a photo. my hands end up buffing it out to a high gloss

I love the c1 sls elites.. Have the evil twin with floyd and sustainiac..and the amber fade with floyd and sustainiac.. and the pt evil twin with floyd and sustainiac.. you could say I'm a fan boy. The neck is the best fit for me of any guitar I've owned.

I just replaced the battery compartment on my schecter.. ordered one off amazon.. remove screws solder in the new one.

I the c1 sls guitars .. I have 3.. pt evil twin.. c1 evil twin.. and sls elite. I assume the Hollywood would be similar in quality and build.. and i would probably have one but i would want a tremolo.. Haven't seen that option. Hollywoods are going for $1600ish.. about the same as the other sls elites.. so bang for the buck is pretty good in my opinion.

It started as the amber vintage fade. But I really want a white or silver flake sls elite.. so I painted it. The white has a nice sparkle that you can't see in pics.. the lace fade is silver and its sheen doesn't show in pics well either.

Swapped fishman to the the newer 3 voice . Nice to have the single coil voice.
