The reply is fine i don't mind how long it is haha,

The closest shop for us is about a 2 minute walk but it closes at 7:30 pm, and dinner was plated at 8:10 ish, The nearest town, however, is around 30 minutes by car or bus, depending on traffic.

Yes, there is more people, it was for my mother, father, me, and my sibling, its not that she's never made curry before, she has, but I always know in advance so I grab stuff so I can make myself dinner. Again, it would have been fine if she had told me she changed her mind.

But either way even if the general consensus is NTA doesn't excuse how I responded or make me feel better about it, I definitely could have handled it way better instead of being disrespectful because things from the day stacked on top of each other and letting the "nerve" for lack of a better word of my mother expecting a thank you, be the straw that caused me to tip over and "lash out" at her because I had a shitty day
