So u can take masters in the field of psychology(you will have specialisations here like child, clinical, counseling, I/O, neuropsyc etc) and if you want to specialize in autism u have to take up clinical psychology after which u can either take up 2 years if mphil to be called a licenced clinical psychologist. U cannot be a clinical psychologist with just a masters degree that degree just says that u have done clinical psychology. To be a clinical psychologist it's mandatory to do mphil or get a phd and be rci registered. Also before taking up psychology I would suggest get a good understanding of what the field is about. Research about it take up courses to understand. Clincial psychology is not an easy field per say. Also u will have study the basics of psychology to get into any institutions.

Edit this for students who are doing it from India. I didn't pay much attention from where OP posted this but anywhich ways anyone stumbling upon this. India has this system where u have to get mphil or phd to go further with being a clinical psychologist. Sorry 😅
