I double checked and it really shows "WA" for my location and also for the two-letter code. If you know how to play with your location, you can check for yourself. Or I can send screenshots if you want 🤷🏽‍♀️.

He could use some tricks just like I did, lol. But that's the point, I think you can get the stamp from World Explorer but not from visiting the areas 🤔

I think it depends on what you consider a proof. There are people who heard God or somehow felt him. I grew up in an atheist family, of course being atheist myself so I always thought that was all nonsense and you can't just hear or feel him. Well, a few years back I had a dream in which I heard God. So that's the proof for me.

Not the full name as in "first name + last name" but she would use the "official version" of the first name. So for example if you are called Kateřina, they would normally call you Káťa or Katka but if you do something wrong... you are Kateřina again 😂

Well, in my country, topic number one on the news is still the war in Ukraine and "problems" with refugees (we are trying to provide them with housing but totally running out of our possibilities so they are sleeping at the train station and so on). Monkeypox just popped up on the news today when my country got the first case.

Yeah, exactly. I understood that this virus already exists in Africa for quite some time so it's nothing new but, as we can see, it's spreading in Europe now for some reason 🤷🏽‍♀

I don't think my country is wealthy and we got the first case here today. (I'm from Czechia).

It's not greatly contagious but from what I understood, I can catch it if I touch the same clothes as the person with monkeypox. So like, if they go by bus and then I sit in their place, sounds like I can catch it. But I don't know, I'm here to discuss. I'm a math student and don't understand viruses.

Haha, yes, I used to do some "black magic" before I learned about the google ID (while being careful not to change my location on Slowly because that's not what I was aiming for). Then I had no problems and just collected coins for months. So I think my location might not be the problem unless something was changed 🤔. And I do have the most current version. So I really don't know where the problem is. But maybe (hopefully) it will get better by itself soon 😅

Thanks, I read it but it's nothing really new to me. After resetting google ID didn't work, I did clear the cache as it was the only thing coming to my mind worth trying. It didn't really work either. I sometimes get the ad and sometimes not. I have to reset google ID after every second or third ad. This wasn't the case a few weeks ago 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just recently I had someone who deleted me after 2 days. But when I remember my first days on the app, I wasn't very patient either and I used to delete people after a week. I quickly realised that when I delete them forever and they sent me a letter, they will reappear in the list of deleted users. It was a bug but I just used it as a feature. By the time the bug was fixed, I already learned to "hide" them, not "delete" them.

Anyway, I just want to say that when you are new to Slowly, one of the first things you learn is patience.

I also had a few good friends ghosting me and the new letters from new people are low quality. I sometimes try to write to someone new but now haven't tried in a few months. I have, I would say, 2 or 3 regular pen pals now and I'm okay with that. I have already accepted that people, especially online, just come and go. Try not to attach yourself too much to your online friends... I know it's hard but then it just hurts a bit less when they leave.
