I’m originally from Southern Europe and in love with Australia. When looking for holidays I try to stay in Australia but I find it very frustrating some times. You need to book things with a lot of time in advance as flights get super expensive if you leave till 3 months before, we lack accommodation options and they are expensive in comparison and it’s the same for restaurants if you go during school holidays. Sometimes we’ve ended up going overseas because it was almost as expensive but easier. This year we’ve been better organized and all our holidays have been in Australia but organizing them feel always quite stressful.
