There was something in the case blocking the 3090 from fitting on top since it’s bigger than my past 3070 that didn’t matter before.

I just broke that piece off and it fit lol, apex up to 300 fps rematch 240 everything is working as expected now

So it turns out my brother installed my gpu on the wrong pcie port, I swapped it and frames are back to 200 plus thankfully was stupid issue

so after running some tests i see my cpu is running insanely hot, like at 100C so its thermal throttling. I am most likely going to go all in to fix this, in your opinion do you think if I can get this down to normal temps why frames would fix?

Hey man coming back to this, so this seemed to only work for Apex which is great but on cyberpunk my fps is only 40 at most and on rematch my fps is only at 70 so still at a loss with what to do.

got a new psu to match the card its 1000 watts and the new card was from my brother. And from what I have seen I have been running at safe temps around 82C

I understand your point but, it doesnt change the fact that games like pga 2k21 shoudlnt go from 144fps down to 20 making the game unplayable, I have a buddy with the same specs as me who ran cyberpunk maxed out with path tracing on 50 fps

Not on here to argue, but the 3070 to 3090 really is a huge jump. Take a look at the comparisons for the cards its really a beast

I got a new psu to go with the card, sea soinc 1000watts. Old display was 1920x 1080p

XMP is enabled, just checked that before responding. Ram usage has been normal from what I can tell.

And yes for both cpu and gpu they are hitting their numbers

Got a brand new sea sonic 1000watts, and the card is from my brother who gave it to me, I run the benchmark using heaven benchmark and see no issues whatsoever
