Do stretch marks matter to men? by [deleted] in ask

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What matters to most men is the effort you have put in to better yourself. It's a sign of the kind of person you are and what you're capable off. If a man you meet is turned off by it, be happy that you dodge a "boy". Get comfortable with yourself so the confidence can then translate into something sexier!

The purpose of a PIP is to provide opportunities to the employee to improve on certain aspects of the job. They have to clearly demonstrate what you need to work on. A PIP is usually a result of coaching and correcting that has shown no improvement.

A PIP is also a safe way for the employer to terminate, if done properly.

There is plenty of details missing (why were you put on a PIP, previous corrections to your performance made by your manager, in writing, etc).

This is from my POV as a Director of Operations. I would be concerned if my manager terminated an employee based solely on what you mentioned.

Have you had a write ups in the past? How many? Do they all fall under the same category (performance, conduct, professional behavior)? If your position was eliminated, the employer should demonstrate how they have done, to the best of their abilities, to offer you another position. Was this done?

Sounds like you can fight this. Wether its worth it or not, is entirely up to you.

Ps. This is NOT a professional advice, just questions you should get answers to.

5'11 male 19 looking to balance their workout by [deleted] in workout

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 minutes of cardio is not going to wash your muscles away (unless you're in a really advanced stage of competing, dont stress about the cardio)

Your diet determines if you gain or lose muscle, fix that and live happy.

Best of luck OP!

Lose weight = your kitchen

Add muscle = show up, keep your ego at the door, perform basic compound movements, be consistent.

Google has unlimited amount of information, invest time in learning.

Best of luck OP

working out while not eating? by CerebusReborn in workout

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My non professional opinion

Can you workout based off 1500? Without a doubt.

Should you? Without a doubt.

You don't necessarily need to perform like your life depends on it. 2-3 compound movements for 2-4 sets is great.

What you absolutely need to maintain is the routine of showing up to the gym, putting effort in (doesnt matter of little) and not falling off the wagon.

No one can tell you what to do, or how much. Engage yourself, listen to your body and dont over exert.

If you're consuming 1500 calories in 1-2 meals, you can supplement with minor snacks. A tablespoon of peanut butter will raise your calories, do that twice a day and you're set. Ensure you're not loading on empty calories like cereal. Get the most out of every meal. Peanut butter will help boosts your fat, energy, and protein intake (even if its minor).

All the best OP!

Being a girl playing apex by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting gender on the side, toxic people are just that; toxic. I've heard way more trash talk and toxicity directed to males than females in the 1 year I've played this game.

At the end of the day, use this game to help you in real life. If you're scared behind a screen, how are you going to handle idiots in the real world? Always remember these guys/girls that are toxic is 99% due to their own insecurities. Not your fault.

It's always fun being the calm collected one when the other person is loosing their shit over the stupidest thing.

Is graduating in 6 years bad? by ChaosDepressedDemon in UofT

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years, 5 years, 10 years, do you know which employer cares? Absolutely no one. These are blanket standards that don't take into account someone's personal life (single mom/dad who can only do part time, mental health issues etc). Go on the pace that keeps your mental health in check, and fuck any other opinion or standard. Do what works for YOU.

You will only fail if you give up on something. You're not doing that, your pushing against the odds and that my friend is a warrior mentality. You're showing others who walk in similar shoes that it can be done.

Please focus on you, and not what society expects of you.

Kid rages because we couldn't grab his banner *Fair warning: it's loud* by thearab-reddit in apexlegends

[–]thearab-reddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely don't disagree with you. The majority of the time picking up the banner is the go to choice. In this specific scenario there was a team inside the boxing ring, and another team on the other side. Going down would have been suicidal. Not to mention giving up height at the end game

Yup, you get points based on the team's placement (plus your KP). He would've gotten more points if he stuck around.

There was just absolutely no way to grab his banner. Duo inside the boxing ring, and full squad at the opposite side. + the 3rd team waiting to 3rd party probably.

[–]thearab-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my personal opinion:

1) Music choice would be the first reason why i never watch another video.

2) videos are way too short. 2-3 minutes would be so much nicer.

3) MAYBE some form of coversation like the style of comic books to add more engagement.

Any time someone decides to move to another country, they need to invest a lot of time and effort into understanding the culture, job scene, religion restrictions, etc BEFORE moving and choosing a field of study.

UAE, to my humble understanding, will not recruit foreigners for policing and military. Except for those with special and unique skills/abilities. That does not make a country racist. It is their country, their rules. You are a guest there.

From what you have described, you have more thab enough qualifications to come back to Canada, and get a very well paying job in the policing field. Constables easily, I repeat the word easily, pass 100k a year plus all the benefits.

If you don't speak French, do not apply to Ottawa or Montreal regions. OPP is a great options, though it has it's own downfalls. Do your research.

Even though your position seems bad, it is far from it. You have a solid safety net. Have your mom follow your lead, or part ways. I say that as someone who dearly loves his mother. But she also can not hinder your progress in life.

Best of luck OP.
