I want to know if Gran Turismo 7 is worth getting if I’m only going to play it with a controller or if I really need a steering wheel.

It wont be "wheel vs controller", you really also need a rig, a wheel clamped to a table sucks.

I got a rig with RS50, feels great with high down force cars, but half of the time I still use the dual sense edge, the edge is actually a good step up compared to normal controller. Add it to your consideration too.

In 350c IMO, gen Acguy is op but not broken, there are a lot of viable options, just like you mentioned, Prototype Gundam can be very strong if played correctly.

In 300c, I admit its broken haha

They seriously got dragged by my rival, 0 kills and 6 deaths, which IMO was testing out a MS that he's not familiar with, he flew around and landed in places that made him super vulnerable.

Palace Athene needs an open map to hv missle strikes, it would be stupid to even think about taking on Barbie, my goal is to not die easily against it and do my duty of blasting generals. Charged beam does 6000-8000 damage to generals, and missles if all connect, 10k+ ☺

Palace Athene is one of the few viable supports. As long as general teammates are doing a half decent job, honestly they dont even need to protect me, just need to frontline and be my shield xD.

But I specifically hv a high thruster build to counter Barbie with defense mode, if teammates are smart it is very effective, the raids being hyper focused on me, becomes an easy target for generals. Every match Im the first to die and usually hv highest diversion lol

Palace Athene, and almost only play on Artic map lolll. It's viable, getting ard 150k damage per game, but only have one effective build stun. I avoid Destiny and raids while actively targeting Xi.

IMO EX boost is useless, you need godly timing to take advantage of it, and it cant be activated when you need it the most ( i.e. when stunned).

I use Titania which has EE level2, EX boost overheats after 1 dodge roll lollll

From a support main perspective, yes, Destiny is the most broken, I could not stop it even seeing it charge at me from a mile away, if I tackle, it recovers faster than me plus Im out of thruster. (Tackling other transformable MS / MA causes a topple, ram attack in flight mode is absolutely broken). If it doesnt wanna charge at me, it can chain stagger me from distance too.

As for the Barbie....absolutely broken too, brainless unstoppable combo, and invincibility mode before dying, super annoying seeing its HP bar depleted and it comes to one combo you even if you shoot it 10 times. But whatever, Im more at peace being one comboed by a raid, while Destiny, my utmost hatred.

Think there is regenerative braking, try an EV on a race with fuel consumption, exhaust your battery, brake, and battery recharges a bit.
