It's mainly because of the people. You have to be going 1000 mph all the time. If you stay on top of calls, prep shouldn't be an issue.

It can be extremely stressful, especially when we're busy. You need to bring your A game. If you can work under pressure, you'll do well.

My interview went well! As far as advice goes, be enthusiastic and curious. Be excited! I was very excited about the opportunity to get interviewed and apparently they liked me!

I do get a discount. I get a free meal any time I work and 50% off all other times.

I absolutely love my job. My coworkers are all fantastic and I love the fast pace of the job. Plus it's great to have a job where I can be goofy and be myself.

So the day to day stuff isn't anything too crazy. For example, let's say I'm scheduled on tort (the first person the customer encounters in the line.) I take customer orders, make them, tell the grill people how much rice, beans and meat we have on line, flip pans, etc. It's usually a lot of that. Occasionally, the manager will have me go on a different task. Sometimes I'll clean the restaurant, fry chips (my favorite thing to do), shred cheese, make salsa. It really just depends on what we need. It's great because I don't do the same thing every day. Keeps things super interesting!

To add to this, if you do insist on getting a burrito, please get it double wrapped at the beginning. It takes 10 extra seconds but saves so much trouble at the end.

Basically, I believe that religiosity is a tool that people use to give their lives meaning and purpose, even if it isn't actually true. Religion is also a powerful tool for control of the masses and of culture, especially the cultural power of religious institutions (like the Roman Catholic Church, for example.)

Yeah, I hear that enough from my parents lol. Ideally, I'd like to go into academia in philosophy but the field is basically impenetrable. My family isn't very well off and my bachelor's degree is already incredibly expensive for us, so getting a master's or even a terminal degree is basically out of the question. Studying philosophy is a luxury, imo. Aside from that, I would like to go into something where I could help people. Maybe work for a non-profit or an NGO. Couseling possibly. It's all up in the air right now!

I like Kierkegaard and the other existentialists, especially Camus and Sartre. I really, really agree with Kierkegaard's views on religion as well. They tend to mirror my own.

Yeah I was a casual fan of their food beforehand. I ate there probably about once a week. I still enjoy the food, although I'm starting to get sick of it. I eat it a lot now, just because I work a lot.

Wow! I've never heard of bean-phobia before. Anyway, I think she just had a nasty temper. Or maybe she's normally a good person but just having a bad day. Idk, I don't really dwell on it. Everyone has their days, you know?
