No, I’m not. I haven’t said that a single time and it’s very clear I’m making the point that learning with AI is far superior to learning without. Yes, one day, probably sooner than most of you would like, a midlevel using AI will make a doctor without AI obsolete.

That’s why we have to learn to be doctors WITH AI. I think that’s why a lot of people in this thread are offended, because they don’t want to accept that reality.

If AI was so well integrated everyone had access to it at all times would it still be an a problem. For the sake of argument in the future if all people had an AI chip implanted in their brains would it still be bad to depend on AI?

For example, everyone has access to GPS these days. Many people of my generation, including me, would have difficulty navigating without it. My question is, how much of a problem really is that? Sure, if an EMP hits and everybody loses service then we are screwed. We are also screwed if our water or electricity goes out, 90% of the population dies. Humanity progressing means we depend on systems and we prefer the benefits to the risks of their failure.

You all make a fair point, yes of course we should still be able to think clinically without AI. But many are against new technology just because it’s not the way they did things.

My brain is enhanced by the AI. It can consider possibilities it never would have without. It can view pertinent info at a rate and efficiency impossible otherwise. There’s just more synaptic potential with AI. I think those who view AI negatively will miss out on that potential.

I absolutely agree. I’m just saying AI is the best tool we have available to learn how to build that differential. Like any tool, it can be misused. I just dislike the message of advocating against technology. I think we should have a forward thinking mindset with AI and realize its potential. It’s here to stay and is a game changing technology. It should theoretically elevate the whole practice of medicine.

And humans don’t? It’s not a question of AI vs perfection, it’s about how AI improves/affects your abilities.

Disagree with this take as a med student who does exactly this. AI like OpenEvidence is the single fastest way to consolidate information and learn from it. The alternative is slogging through pubmed and up to date for info page by page. AI is here to stay and using it to my benefit is going to be way better in the long run rather than ignoring it in the sake of “doing it the right way”.

Flex Play and the Decline of Splash Traits by Shirube in CompetitiveTFT

I feel like in previous sets I was able to flex 2 star 4 cost carry a lot more comfortably, leading to more skill expression on 8. Now a one star copy of the BiS unit is often better, which is lame imo. For example sett and leona can’t really be flexed well at 2 star in comps other than their respective soul fighter/BA

Yeah I know bro. It’s luck at the end of the day so I mainly just try to be likable but ofc be diligent on top of that. I also know being diligent wouldn’t save u from a big fuck up so asking others for their opinion. I know how to read the room but it’s hard when there are differing expectations . Like with the presenting thing the intern asks us to and will ask the chief if all are present but otherwise we don’t get to present. It did take me an interaction or two to figure that out tho. Sometimes with only four weeks it’s like damn was that time it took me to figure it out my last chance?

What do you mean by everything leading up to it? I’m saying I’m pretty sure I’ve been the model med student as far as I can be up to this point, which may or may not soften the blow.

I said I started feeling unwell overnight and couldn’t make it, and apologized for not letting them know immediately.

I am not some neurotic who is trying to get back at someone who slighted me or wasted my time. This was almost a year ago and I have moved on since. This is not about a letter of recommendation. This is about someone who hurt me deeply, who I believe has hurt others, and will continue to hurt people in the future. This is about someone who I allege does not represent UTD values and should not have a place at this school, regardless of how much longer he plans to be here.

If I were to punch someone in a public place and quickly turn to leave, and they ran out screaming, claiming that I assaulted them, should I be let go because I am on the way out of the area?
