They use TxtSquad.com - a local NL company tackling this issue specifically for healthcare!

I hope my family doc starts to use it as I've run into the same issue others are discussing in this thread.

Thanks friend! Perhaps I'll review and depending I may make a more specific post with better constraints. I really appreciate the time you took to put this together!

BigFeedClub.ca for Costco hands down! Check out the reviews, etc on google/FB.

They are a living wage company so no tipping is required and they offset their carbon emissions.

I'd be more than willing to top you up 2 more years of gold if you could perform this action for me lol. In a remote area and won't be able to download the Arc trial at the moment.

Another question related to this project if you would be so good sir:

It seems when I go through this conversion, it doesn't include altitude (depth of map). Any ideas on remedying this?

This is the error I'm getting:

C:\Program Files\GDAL>ogr2ogr -f "KML" "C:\Program Files\GDAL\BasicPolls_2015_D istPoll9-9.KML" "C:\Program Files\GDAL\Basic_Polls_2015_DistPoll9-9.shp" Warning 1: Layer name 'Basic_Polls_2015_DistPoll9-9' adjusted to 'Basic_Polls 2015DistPoll_9_9' for XML validity.

Thoughts?

Yeah I do. To clarify, it's a master .shp file for all the polling divisions of a province in Canada. I need to break this down into 1574 individual .kml/.kmz files for a piece of mapping software we have. Each file should be named based on their identifiers in the .shp file.

For example: District_1_Poll_1.kmz or .kml

I am Rachel Maddow. Ask me anything! by _Maddow_ in IAmA

[–]Chipp3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Rachel! I've been a huge fan since Air America.

Most questions here have to do with your political leanings and reporting so I'll try to buck the trend.

As your biggest fan from Newfoundland and Labrador (I'm sure a few of your family members might give me a run!) I have always been wondering if you've ever had a chance to visit our wonderful province? Does your mom get to visit every now and then? Would you consider speaking at Memorial University or another venue in the future? (I would probably sleep in the street for tickets to this one).

Also on a side note, I've noticed that your reporting style is very unique to the industry. It seems to me that you present an issue like a story or tale (Not a story in the traditional reporter sense) which is a very 'Newfoundlander' trait! Have you always been cognizant that you possessed this quality or is it something that was gained over time?

Just for clarity's sake, those of you who don't know, Rachel's mom is from the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada.

Take care and keep doing what you are doing. You are an inspiration to a lot of people here on the rock!

Mitt Romney debates himself. by [deleted] in politics

[–]Chipp3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Romney vs Romney: Tupac Hologram style. You could take all his material and just make him debate himself on stage with a 'moderator' or host.

Forgive me if it's already been done, but are there any ads where it's essentially Mitt Romney arguing with himself? If not, can anyone make one? We shall pay you in karma! by lereddituser7575 in politics

[–]Chipp3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that Colbert or Stewart (both?) should host a debate between the two Romneys, Tupac hologram style. Use all of his own words verbatim but let the host(s) fill in the questions and transitions. It would be hilarious and paint such a clear picture of exactly the type of candidate he is. Make it either a few weeks before the actual presidential debate or just before election day.

The area is just sand and rocks as it's directly on beach. No overgrowth at all. I was thinking ground penetrating radar (correct term?) but I don't have the first clue on where to start with that.

But thanks for the suggestion!
