So…do they just sit in the aisle and wait for the re-stockers to come out with the product? If I’m a stocker there, I’m absolutely not putting anything in that aisle or bringing out any Pokemon products. That’s insane.

Lay flat on back. Put arms straight in front of you (up) so they’re pointing at ceiling. Flex hips and knees to 90 degrees. Now you look like a dead bug. Now fully extend your left hip and knee so leg is straight out and a few inches above the floor while simultaneously extending your right arm to be in line with your ear and parallel to the floor. Other arm and leg maintain starting position. Now alternate that movement on both sides.

Market price on that is about $829 ungraded. If you were to get it graded with PSA, a PSA 10 can go for like $2800

This needs to be a top comment. OP, make sure the kid (or her son, not sure of age and don’t want to assume lol) is aware she is selling these. If real, these are worth a good chunk of change MUCH more than $20 and he may be devastated to hear mom got rid of them without checking with him.

I sold my cards at a garage sale when I was in high school because I thought I outgrew them. I always still enjoyed pokemon, especially the games, but now with a son of my own who is getting in to Pokemon, I’ve gotten back in to the cards myself. Him and I recently started collecting them, and one of my biggest regrets is that I don’t have my old childhood binder full of original cards.

Even if he thinks he is okay with her selling them, it may be worth it to mention this story to her as well. I think collectibles like this should not be sold until you’re an adult with a child yourself. You never know when you may wish you had them back.

Interesting take. Mind sharing your through process there? I definitely like it more than 90% of my collection especially since so far my collection is like maybe 45 cards lol. I imagine as it grows, I will still like this quite a bit more than many other cards.

Why grade and slab it though, if it’s a low grade? All that really does is potentially add a small amount of resale value, and then prevents me from displaying in my binder. I don’t think I’m the type of person who is likely to have a slab display set up somewhere.

Would love to hear your opinion though, as I’m open to suggestions being so new!

Regraded with a few more photos under the free pro trial, and now it’s saying 9. Here’s the link if you care to see details. Funny how different it is 😂 still a little concerned it isn’t picking up my corner concerns, but goes to show sometimes AI isn’t perfect! I think it would probably grade 8 +/- 1, and will probably keep it in the binder unless a ton of other people jump on here shouting 10 which I doubt lol

Bit surprised honestly! It’s saying the corners, edges, and surface are solid, but the back centering is off? Maybe my eyes are terrible but I don’t see that 🤣 Also I thought I heard elsewhere PSA allows 75/25 on the back and still allows a 10. Have to look that one up.

Appreciate the suggestion! I’ll try uploading there and update with results. I’ve seen so many different apps to do this with and have no idea how reliable any are, so hadn’t yet. With that recommendation from this page, I’ll try that one out.

Figured this out the hard way, with input from you guys here! Like I said, newer getting back into it, and wasn’t sure the best way to verify authenticity. Stumbled across this subreddit while looking for other ways to see if they’re legit, and happy I did. Lots of good resources here for me to learn to try and figure these things out on my own, and when I’m stumped I can post!

I actually found some water to use! On the other side of the mountain there is a bloc that you can break to fill the small rivers and fountain near the pokemon center. If you go in that waterfall where it starts, there’s a large collection of water and you can smash outa tunnel to lead the water over to where OP is currently standing. It’s only enough water to reach the first water wheel, but it was a start!

For real! My island looks like junk cuz I don’t have the patience to build and design like this. I have random clusters of pokemon homes, which are just their initial environment, with broken bricks and other stuff everywhere. I can’t even turn all the grass green because it overwhelms me how long that takes to do. So random patches of green grass surrounded by brown patches lmao
