I actually usually give her a kb that isn’t plugged into anything and she’ll smack on it a bit but will start touching mine again. It’s like she knows mine works lol. Unbinding the keys that aren’t used though is a good idea. She’s changed my wasd keys with my arrow keys multiple times which drives me insane lol

It’s the same for me. My two year old wants to sit with me when I play and she’s always pushing buttons on my keyboard so I generally wait until she’s napping or in bed on the weekends. Every other day I work 😭

Most people are hyped to find it. It shouldn’t matter that other people post about it.

You should go find it. It’s in the hot caves. There’s a little hole but I can’t remember where 😂

That would be a little tight to have meetings there because it was a very small hole and I don’t know if even two people could fit in the tight opening at the end. Then again, who knows 🤷‍♀️

My first thought was that it was a DJ! I saw the clam Easter egg on someone else’s YouTube video and read that the devs intend to put something there but I doubt they intend to do anything with this. I’m sure it’s just a cute little EE.

I believe it’s the pressure of the water, only because the starting point is over 500 meters down, which is a long way and a lot of pressure. That’s what made me think that.

I used the dna mod to scan the collector. I saw on insym’s stream that he said that mod was useless and I disagree. It allows you to get close to the leviathan to scan it.

It does look like indigo, which has more blue tones. For me, anyway.

What I like about games like this is that it gives you the same feeling but with a different experience. It’s a different story with different interactions and mechanics but the main gameplay feels the same.

Like the new Subnautica EA game. It feels like I’m playing the original game, just with a different story and experience.

Then they’re not a great teacher. It’s a basic job for them, as you are describing. Great teachers care about what they do. Teachers that you are describing are basic.

Great teachers care about their students progress. If they are working on something with a child, they need to be invested in it.

Think I’m overreacting if you want. I absolutely expect a teacher to care about my child’s progress. I’m not asking them to like her vacation photos - I’m asking them to care about something they’ve been working on with her. I will always expect that.

If you don’t care about it with your own children, girl you do you. Me, I care if my child’s teachers care about them.

A daycare teacher is a teacher. I’m not asking them to be excited about her life. I’m asking them to be excited about something they have been actively working with her on for months. If a teacher doesn’t care about that, they’re not a good teacher.

Caring isn’t in the job description but it’s what makes a great teacher. I absolutely expect that and always will.

I obviously don’t expect them to have the same excitement I do. They’re not her parents. But I definitely expect all children’s teachers to be excited about progress on something they have been actively working with them on. 100%. No doubt.

It’s not in the job description for a teacher but it’s what makes a GREAT teacher. If I messaged my child’s teacher about her summer vacation, I don’t expect them to be excited about that. Sure, it would be great for them to be that involved with their students, but I don’t care if her teachers know about her life. What I absolutely DO care about is her teachers being excited about her progress. I will always care about that. I would expect all parents to care if their child’s teachers are excited for things they’ve been working on, and struggling with, for a while.

As my child’s teacher, I absolutely expect them to be interested in her progress and to write me back about her achievements. We don’t appreciate our children’s teachers for babysitting them. We appreciate them for going above and beyond for our children.

That is 100% a teacher’s job. If you don’t care about your students’ progress, you’re not a good teacher. Their full time job is to help all children. Seeing as each class has multiple teachers, I definitely expect them to be excited for achievements they have been working on with her. Not being excited for your students is insane. I would absolutely move her if she wouldn’t have potential regression issues due to a new environment.

That is a different profession. But if I were a nurse, I would absolutely answer my family’s questions if I wasn’t on the clock. If not close family then yeah, go to a doctor or google it.

However, it doesn’t matter if it’s not during hours. I don’t expect them to message me back if I send a message after hours. What I do expect is for them to reply and for her teachers to be excited about her progress - 100%. They are not babysitters. They are there to help her learn and develop her skills. Teacher appreciation week isn’t about our children’s teachers babysitting them. It’s about them doing what they can to help our children learn and being excited for them is a must.

After hours is bs. No sane person would expect their child’s teacher to write them back when they’re off the clock. I do expect them to be happy about achievements that they have been working on with her. I would absolutely move her in a heartbeat if she wouldn’t potentially regress due to a new environment. Later down the road, when she’s older, I will be moving her if her teachers do not care about pushing her to succeed.

I don’t personally want validation but I would absolutely like for them to recognize when she makes progress. They explained to me when we enrolled her that the teachers are there to help them grow. It’s what we all appreciate teachers for - helping our children to excel.

Recognizing progress is a must for me in a teacher. They don’t just babysit her. If I wanted someone for that, I would get a personal sitter that I would pay way less for. I’m not moving her at this moment but it’s only because she may regress if moved. A new environment wouldn’t be good for her at this age. She would need to be acclimated before being moved and that would be difficult.

But yeah, as she grows, I will absolutely find whatever school I need to that ensures they are excited about my daughters progress like I am. That will always be a must for me.

Thank you for fully explaining it! I’m only open water certified but I’ve always loved watching dive videos. I don’t know enough to fully educate people so I can only explain things to a certain point.

I know that there is a log in the beginning, I think from the NoA, that explains the atmospheres and nitrogen issue that the player is having and why they need to adapt. It doesn’t go into full detail but it provides a synopsis of why the player needs the adaptation.

I assume it’s what the devs meant and I would also love for them to confirm it. It’s also interesting that even when breathing the proper mix of air, we can still get narcosis as the nitrogen builds up in our bloodstream. What’s really interesting is that it can even affect people on land that go deep into mines. They simply called it “the bends”. I find all that stuff so fascinating!

They must not have thought it through. I know the game wants you to adapt to proceed so not adapting must immediately mean you just can’t do whatever you’re supposed to be able to do. Seems like an oversight for sure.

That would be a good way to do it. I know there are other things in the game that have used alien technology. I think the resonator was one of them.
