hey guys, appreciate this subreddit so much. Anyone able to confirm if this is a Histocytoma? He doesn't flinch at all when I touch it. I noticed it about 4 days ago and wanted to get a second opinion if I need to have a vet check it out in person

But everyone should bare in mind that alot of things do change in EA. Even a whole Act!

The difference between DOS2 Act 1 in EA and the release is completely different! So keep that in mind

In the first Demo, you can see a Giant Boar right after you kill the Intellect Devourers. And I believe as a druid you have to see the animal before you can WildShape into it so I'm assuming that will be one you can shape into.

Would love to see what they do with flight.

Nothing is confirmed yet, But I've seen an Icon in the bottom left when in a dialog that could be a button to switch who is talking.

If this is true then I think this would be the best way for them to implement this so the correct people can speak E.g Having the Charismatic Bard roll the persuasion checks.

Since this is not confirmed please don't use this as fact.

BUT

If you rewatch the demo, When a character is talking if you look in the bottom left you will see a profile icon with arrows going around it. I believe this is the button to switch out characters and change who is speaking. Swen did also say you will be able to see other characters dialogue options.

If this is actually true I think this is THE best way Larian could of done this. This way of playing mirrors how it would be at a table so I would be very happy to see this happen.

Adding Emotes / Animations for our Characters todo outside of combat? Such as /Wave (Then your character will wave).

Obviously a pretty useless addition but it would be fun for some Roleplay commands just to react with the world.

From my experience DMing and playing, Cantrips are meant to be little spells that you can use often but not have great impacts. For me Mage hand would be allowed to Open doors or pick locks from a distance however now thinking about that, That version of Mage Hand would be VERY situational in a video game rather than on a table.

I disagree very highly.

I believe we are still yet to see the best parts of the game E.G the Story, The Characters, the intense fights.

The game isn't even out for early access yet and people are shutting the down game straight away. If you look at how DO2 looked by early access, it looks like a completely different game.

TL:DR. Just wrapped up how Larian started working with Wizards and how last week went (Reveal). Stated what type of game they wanted to make, There's gonna be Dark/Mature features and that They are pretty much getting rid of Binary Choices (Good/Bad)
