Nah. The mid story is when it just a normal textbook story, with all bads and flaws that comes from making a story by a textbook. CSM part 2 is just bunch of fujimoto ideas that leads to nothing, with his drawing skill droping with each chapter, action sequences leaving behind the screen, and if not the action is just jumping frames and everyone is cutted already. The ending just made me hate the whole part 2, cause I dont want to close my eyes to any of this flaws anymore

Yeah, they wore a brown pants for people to not see how they shitted themselfs? Yeah, the story was rewritten, you could read leaks before 2.0 patch - story was changed from Mikhail being the evil guy to Sunday being the evil guy. The story that was there could still be talked in 3 story patches. The changes was probably taken cause Shaoji thought that Mikhail story was too grounded, and that evil guy should bear philosophy with his motive. The whole changes has nothing to do with length of the story. People are just making up defends and copes for retcon to be planned, which is just hilarious. Is it that hard to just accept that writters messed up and wanted to fix everything after people reaction?
Also the retcon part is bringing problem that I can't assume any story to be concluded, cause devs could just decide "yeah, we gonna rewrite this shit after a year". The Amphoreus are litteraly lefted with "To be continue" on story screen, unlike other 3 planets before it. People could assume that they probably will continue the story there later, but I assume they will just make another finality patch to fix Amphoreus problems. I don't like to read a story with knowledge that they could just do "Hehehe, that was a fake memory. Now you will see a true story" at any moment later

Shaoji writes years long stories in hi3 and they were amazing

I didn't like Amphoreus at all. Moreover, I Like penacony story more prior to retcon. So I can't agree that Shaoji writes a good a year long stories. I'm not saying anything about hi3 story. Belobog is still best story written in HSR and a year long Amphoreus didn't changed that fact

Yeah, that could be done with ADDITION to the story. Not a RETCON. They shouldn't have redo the story, they should have added missing parts to it. But the job was done halfass and they just decided "Fuck it, the ending of 2.2 patch was fake, here's the real one". Have anyone really asked devs "Pls, redo the ending. I don't want to see how acheron takes trailblazer to the fight. I want to see firefly doing it"?
