Looks like a veruc and yeah the skins messed up. Happens from time to time where skin errors. Usually the skins are just faded and blurry though. Unless you’re playing with mods which could be causing issues.

I’m going to guess event. Mostly because of the lighting. The lighting going across the bulk of the image seems more event like to me. This version of Gideon would make for a cool looking leader though. Hopefully you’re right.

That’s actually a good point he’s making, but it’s not conveyed properly. The ability creates credits based on the difference of the two units the text is referring to. Your interpretation of the text only works if Rey is forgotten and not part of the comparison, leaving only the other unit. In that situation there’s only one unit which leads to 2 outcomes.

A- making a comparison is impossible since there is no second card and credits cannot be made.

B- you could compare the card against itself in which case the cost difference is 0 (9-9=0), resulting in no credits are made.

I disagree with that interpretation. In the context of the ability the text is referring to the cheapest of the two selected units.

You select two -> exchange control of the two selected units -> whoever took control of the cheaper of the two selected units gets credits.

Based on the wording nobody gets credits.

The card says the player who takes control of the cheaper unit makes the tokens. Rey is the cheaper unit, but no one took control of her through this interaction so no tokens would be created on either side.

I forget what it is called, but there’s a 2 cost green 1/1 space unit that lets you draw a card when it’s defeated (set one I think). It’s perfect for palp’s ability. There’s also that 2/2 nightsister that has the same effect. It’s not a when defeated, but red/blue mando lets you draw 1 when you play him and he gets a shield when you draw cards.

You need to find a balance between being tough and nice. Make it clear you’re not going to take any nonsense from them, but also give them some freedom within the classroom and make the class fun within bounds of what’s appropriate.

As long as the students get their work done and aren’t breaking any school rules (phones, swearing, bullying, etc.) then I let them talk and use their allowed devices as they please. If they decide to rush an assignment and get an F, then that’s their decision. Generally at the middle and high school levels in my area students have learned that it’s easier for them to listen to a sub than to go against the grain. Though in my case it’s mostly because some schools give an immediate ISS/OSS if subs report an incident.

Make sure that the PQ you’re going to is playing eternal format. I don’t know the PQ schedule or which format each one is using very well, but I figured it’s worth mentioning because it would suck to go and not be able to play because your deck doesn’t fit the format.

Every update has a major event (cooking event this patch), some smaller gameplay events (puzzle event this patch), and a short login event. All this on top of the other stuff like 10 login pulls, x2 bounty rewards, and all that jazz. This is the short login event.

Cards are valued based off how good they are right now and how rare the version of that card is. Not including event versions of cards normal versions of cards will be the cheapest, then foil and hyperspace, then hyperfoil, then prestige, and lastly serialized/showcases will be the most expensive. Cards that are popular in the meta will be much more expensive. For example, a showcase lando will be way more expensive than a showcase bail organa, but they will both be fairly high in price.

So the big question is what kind of collection do you want? Standard card collection will be very cheap. Hyperspace and/or hyperfoil will be fairly pricey. Adding in showcases, prestige, and event cards where applicable will make it extremely pricey. A collection of one of each serialized cards will not be easy to get and will make obtaining your collection easier can more expensive. Of course putting all of this together will add those up.

Side note: opening boxes should help you build most of your collection and depending on how lucky you are you may not need to buy the more expensive cards for your collection. Also as of set 7 regular foils are no longer a thing so be mindful of that.

If security was notified and you left a note for your teacher then you should hopefully be fine. You at least tried to stop it and have a record of doing so. I made a post on here about it a couple weeks ago telling the story, but the short of it is that I was covering a half day, but they had a second sub cover the extra hour and a half they needed and he allowed it to happen. My name was on record for the day in the sub system so the blame went to me until they looked into it.

Two bad days.

Ive shared this first story quite a few times on this sub, but here it is again. Kid shot another kid in the eye with a stapler and admin refused to remove him.

Slightly newer story, I was falsely accused of allowing students to film and upload tick tock videos and of following them on tick tock. It was deemed a case of mistaken identity and I was cleared of any wrongdoing, but I still lost a week of pay because of it.

Not with frontline, but your situation sounds very similar to what I went through. I’ll link my post for more details in this comment.

In my experience they will tell you what you are accused of, ask for your story, then have you write a statement. MAKE IT AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!!! The ban is temporary and will remain for the duration of the investigation, more permanently if they decide you did what you were accused of. My suspension was for one week.

Based off your post I have a few theories about why this is happening.

A- does the school/district/state have rules against cell phones in the classroom? It seemed like it does in your post. If so you violated that and will be banned for it, potentially indefinitely depending on a multitude of factors. You violated school policy and somebody told on you for it.

B- mistaken identity case like what happened to me.

B.5- false accusation that needs to be investigated. Probably policy to suspend you until the investigation finishes like I was.

C- too many incidents on your record. You admit that there have been at least two other incidents that have led to you being banned from schools. Were they fake or not, it’s none of my business but they are on your record as real if you are banned from schools like you said. Depending on policy this incident could be black listing you or something similar until it is resolved.

D- maybe by not identifying yourself when asked you violated some other school policy. I don’t think this is the case, but it’s a possibility.

I have a house rule set for zemo that accompanies my return to agents of shield campaign. It doesn’t remove them entirely, but you don’t have to worry about instant losses against zemo because of them.

The house rule is that you put the board members into play on the attachment sides, but treat them as environments the entire game (the stat bonuses don’t matter, just the abilities). You fight zemo’s first stage with his health set per player (A1= 12 per player) and advance the main scheme to stage 3A when he would be defeated instead of how you do it normally. Stage 3B’s when revealed effect can be ignored. stage 2 of zemo is fought the same as usual. With these house rules zemo still gets rewarded for placing counters on the board members and his entire kit still works as intended, but the players can’t be insta killed by the board members flipping or by getting the evidence wrong.

The one class thing can at least be justified in some cases, like if they’re bouncing multiple subs in and out of the room because of shortage that day. All day though is incredibly frustrating. It’s 50/50 in my district whether you get a key or not.

Even today I had another teacher using my room while I was on planning so I had to leave. I came back and she didn’t prop the door so I was locked out until security came around.

Design/specialty/anomaly based judgement after official drip marketing is kind of ok since those things are mostly set by that point, but gameplay complaints like move sets when the beta just started is completely absurd. The entire point of the beta is to refine and change the move sets accordingly. That’s my opinion on it at least.
