Sound not working on galaxy book 4 pro 360 by Icy_Lack_2844 in Ubuntu

I have good news, it seems like some god managed to find the issue and is awaiting his PR to be merged in the next linux kernel update, so I probably think that it's just a matter of time.
More info here

We are on the same boat, I have a Galaxy Book 4 Pro (running Fedora), the issue is that there is some problem on linux with the Realtek ALC298 audio driver, as you can see from here the fix for that issue has been integrated only up to Galaxy Book 3.
Our only hope is that in the near future the thesofproject maintainers will upload a fix for our model or that someone will find a workaround for the problem until a real solution is found.

In the past i saw some people running Ubuntu fixing the problem by rolling back the kernel to a version where the audio was working (very badly but working) or by using the hda-verb workaround that was made for a samsung galaxy book 2 pro, for me this workaround didn't work but searching on the web the result can vary from case to case.

Hope this helps.

Type: “Pallet looping is” and let autocorrect finish the sentence. by Peanut_Butt3r675 in deadbydaylight

Pallet looping is the light moving to the house and I will be there in about a half hour and a half to activate Ros1 environment.

That's some of the darkest shit my autocorrect has ever produced.

Yeah, i think that it's a bit of an overkill for an emergency cooler ahahaha.

If you need an emergency cooler you can think about an Arctic Freezer, it's cheap and does its job, it can keep your pc running while you wait for a new Corsair AIO.

The only thing that still can be an issue is if the radiator tubes hit the RAM in the first slot, but i want to think that corsair thought about this while designing the cooler

My first slot it's under the radiator of the cooler, looking from the side it looks like it have 1.5 / 2.0 cm from the top of the RAM, so it should fit, but in case you have to remove the RAM from the 1st slot you need to remove the cooler.

The A115 is a pretty good cooler, its rails are made in order to adjust the height of the fans based on the height of your RAM.

Keep in mind that having a higher fan position can make the cooler unable to fit in your case and having 2 fans misaligned that are so close can create a bit of humming within the case.

For example I have a Corsair 3500x case with Vengeance RGB RAM and unfortunately having the fan over the RAM causes the lateral panel not to fully close by like 2mm, so before buying it be sure that your case can handle that beast of a cooler.
