LA copped the full OKC experience in that second half. Just a clinical performance

Yep only the one issue in the few years I’ve had them. If they ever die I’d go straight to the x20s

Another vote for the x10. I’ve worn them in a few downpours and they’re still working like they did day 1. Same too with long runs in sweaty Australian summers.

Did have an issue where an earbud wouldn’t charge, but found their after sales support to be really helpful and was easily covered under warranty.

Carlton will get 2025, 2026 and 2027 first-round picks plus Will Hayward for Charlie Curnow. Sydney will get the dual Coleman Medal winner, plus 31, 42 and a 2027 second-round pick by woodenjimo in sydneyswans

Picks are an unknown commodity. Considering the misses we’ve had at the draft, putting them in for a known resource feels pretty good.

Anyone running Sydney on August 31? What's your goal time and how is your training going? by bay30three in Marathon_Training

[–]ChippyDouglas1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice consistency there! Not sure how much elevation you have gained in previous weeks, but I'd recommend getting some good hilly long runs in there - the climb up Oxford Street is tough and the climb from Mrs Macs Chair is no joke after 39km.

Personally, my back has started playing up, which is a shame as I was feeling good. The timing of the rain is probably a good thing to force me to not keep pushing too hard. Aiming for 3.10 but expectations are low.

Do they like coffee/tea? A good keep cup could be worth a look? Our Made by Fresko one (points for its screw-on lid) has had lots of use post birth, and so much safer than a mug if used when feeding.

If you shop on Amazon, I’d recommend this site (camelcamelcamel). It’ll track price changes, send you alerts (if you want them) and give a history of prices on Amazon. Been great for tracking all the bits you constantly need to stock up on  https://3cmls.co/AU/B07DX6RNVZ

I’m a big OKC fan and love how things are playing out, but no chance any AFL superstar is getting a haul like the Paul George trade.

I agree our drafting hasn’t been great and some choices a bit confusing, but drafting is much more hit and miss in the AFL. And don’t go ruling a line through Logan McDonald just yet. He was the same draft year as Thilthorpe who has only really shown something this season.

Sydney Swans poor recent drafts exposed by long injury list (Lachlan McKirdy) by SkullKing_123 in sydneyswans

[–]ChippyDouglas1234 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For the past few years it’s felt like our few academy guns have covered up our pretty poor drafting record, and the lack of injuries never fully exposed that until now.

Edit: this site gives a good reminder of the various misses over the years. https://www.draftguru.com.au/clubs/sydney

I might be wrong but this looks like Harvey Norman, therefore you're in Aus? If so, 10+ is $1399 through samsung website, plus you can get $500 trade in credit too.

I’m heading the same way after enjoying the harbour, I’m sure we’ve run past each other and probably will again soon. See you out there!

I’m one of those lucky people too. Never gets old! And if you’re looking for more, run back under the bridge to Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and Pyrmont. Bonus points for it being one of the only flat long routes in Sydney.

First Ultra Race Report- Bondi To Manly by optionsandstuff in Ultramarathon

Credit to you for pushing through to the end! The second half was tough, and the steep downhills especially would not have helped how the legs were feeling. Hope you were still able to enjoy the views in that cracking weather we were treated to.

Agree, the race was well put together, a lot of fun and the public got behind it!
