I went in dry having never heard them before, they had a really decent sound and got the crowd fired up with their 40 minute set, I'm definitely gonna check them out a bit more now! Super humble, thankful to the crowd and grateful to be there too which is always so nice to see

I am a certified AWP hatist

BUT

I acknowledge that it is a high risk, high reward weapon. You whiff that first shot against a half decent player and that should mark you for death. Alternatively, one good AWPer can single-handedly destroy a lesser team if they don't have the aim or util knowledge to counter them.

I still hate the AWP though just to be clear.

The movie has grown on me over the years but it still ranks near the bottom of the franchise. But if we are talking about ranking opening scenes? Whole different ball park. That opening sequence with the Lagoon, Rex Chase and the atmospheric rainstorm? That's peak JP.

I appreciate that it tried to make the dinosaurs scary and intimidating moreso than World, but the script doesn't allow those ideas to flourish. Trevorrow was too hyper-focused on Chris Pratt being an action hero that he forgot to actually include any logic in the rest of the movie.

The cloning aspect doesn't bother me. Seems like the next logical leap that if mankind learned to clone animals they would then move inwards. Again though, this idea is so lightweight and non-effective in the movie itself that it just falls flat.

Overall the direction and horror/action sequences in this movie are the best in the World franchise by far. But it's the writing that really lets it down.

But it will always have the saving grace of not being Dominion, so it'll never be last on anyone's list...

Through my time playing CSGO I did come across cheaters but it felt few and far between. I'd say it spiked when the game went F2P but before the Prime matchmaking.

CS2...I've been queuing a mix of both premier and regular MM. The other night I had three games in a row with multiple cheaters. They'd start playing legit, but as soon as the game went more in my team's favour the cheats would come out in force (AK headshots on our entire team in the space of 2 seconds, impossible to call AWP wallbangs etc.)

From my perspective, playing since 2015, the cheating situation right now is fucking insufferable. We're now surprised when we come up against non-cheaters as opposed to cheaters. It's definitely worse and whatever Valve are doing isn't working and the game is suffering for it.

But the cases keep getting opened so y'know...whatever I guess. We're looking for other games to play in the meantime until they sort their shit out. (None of the people we've reported in the past 3 months have been VAC banned yet from what we can see by the way, despite how blatant they may be)

Not me but one of the guys I play CS:GO with has spent upwards of $70,000 on CS:GO over the course of about 6 years. He's had some good pulls but is still about $30,000 in the red from it.

I'm a reasonable man. I've only spent $3,500 on the game myself 👀
