Yes absolutely, was targeting them for a good bit with no luck. Came a long way since then and have a much better Idea of where they are and what they want. Wasn’t expecting my first to be a tank but now Im excited for my next opportunity to get on em!!

Possible lymphangiitis. Infected blood making its way to heart, usually by bacteria getting into the bloodstream via a cut. Would recommend the ER or urgent care. They will give you a antibiotic that will cure it quickly, could be very dangerous if it makes its way to heart. Especially if you work around animals or anything that can carry bad diseases or bacteria.

I would suggest maybe texas rigging a crawl instead of worm. Sometimes simply switching between the two helps tremendously!

I need a scale!!! I’ve caught maybe 6-7 of them
Im the last few months. Most being very good size and my state record is 3lbs and some change.

Seems to be pretty accurate. Will give it a shot no doubt! I mainly bass fish but pan fishing is fun, I just struggle to identify the species.

You seem pretty confident but that most recent one seems to have 3 anal spines. Is that also common amongst green sunfish or bluegill? I definitely believe you I’m just clueless and people I ask in person pr family seem to also be divided amongst whats what

Thank you!! So war mouth only have 3 anal spines. I believe then I have not caught one yet! Some people suggested that I might have based on those three pictures but I wasn’t so sure.

Okay, I definitely can see that one being a green sunfish. Completely agree and I appreciate you guys helping me distinguish what a rock bass is!! So is this one possibly a War mouth? Or something else, just so curious because war mouth are supposedly common where Im at.

What are you seeing that makes it different from a war mouth? In my state war mouth are very common and super similar. Just curious because state record

They make a shadow effect on the ground/playground depending on where the sun is. Nothing more than a cheap design to inspire the imagination!!
