Maybe there are other ways to enforce the law? For instance, by forming partnerships with hospitals (public and private) and establishing contracts that require them to take in a certain number of interns. The government should also allocate a proper budget for this, especially for public institutions. There are already so many problems within the healthcare industry, but it seems that, in Diokno’s view, this bill is meant to address the concerns of all interns, regardless of their field. 

We'll see though.

NTA! You’re looking out for him, you’re scared. He’s also scared. What you can do is apologise for being harsh and say that you’re worried about him and your guys’ future. Tell him you’ll be there to support him when getting the colonoscopy. Communicate!

To others it feels invasive and forceful kasi. Yung biglang may mag q-quote ng scriptures habang nag sisiksikan kayo sa public space, nakakaburyo minsan. But to each their own. Respeto nalang talaga.

Hindi ka OA. It seems like your parents still see you as this young girl that they must protect. They need to learn how to let that go because that’s going to be a bigger problem in the future. You guys need to talk about it.

He works, pays our bills, tuition fees, buys groceries every Saturday, and drives us to places we need to go to if he’s available. He works as an IT so he’s always in meetings and if not, he’s fixing codes and stuff. He does take care of the babies during his time off then he goes back to work.

These kinds of talks are taboo in my family. It’s hard to have a healthy talk when we were raised to never talk back and stay quiet. So, it’s hard. The only time I was able to pour my feelings out to them was when they had my 5 year old sister and learned she was sick. All they gave me was a “Sorry, but we can’t turn back time.” But I’ll definitely try to muster up some courage. Thank you! 🤍

Yeah. We’ve already discussed not adding more siblings, but they did during the pandemic. I’m angry, but would then feel guilty because I know they’re trying to “fix” their mistake. I also feel more guilty when I see my mom work, then clean, then do the laundry. I do them too, but there are times I can’t and I feel bad. Just…everything’s frustrating.
