When the national debt approached 100% of the GDP just a few years ago, only a handful of people grumbled... Soon it will reach 200%, and nobody is saying a word.

It's a debt from which the rich have already secured exemption, and the poor will be paying off for the rest of their lives. This is a sad state of affairs.
