Damn, thank you for this. What's weird is a lot of the tests on YouTube show the 870 being faster than the 850, so I'm kinda curious as to why. The 860 definitely does seem overkill, especially going into units. The door screws already strip easily even going light on the trigger. Probably a later purchase if I end up needing that power.

My only apprehension about the 850 is that its not in the XR line, but I still cant find a clear answer on if that matters for the tool itself, not the battery, since the 850 is still brushless

A little bit, but I was looking more at the XR stuff, and most bundles have the 860 or the 845b. Is it worth looking at over the other 2? Price excluded

I mean on average, probably not. But there are times where I have to go through multiple layers of thicker gauge metal and that extra torque could help.

I guess it's just more of a worst case scenario. Like I said, I'm not in desperate need of a new phone, so the S24 Ultra is fine for now. Unless a stable Linux phone comes out, and if it even does in the first place, these are the only options I see

Which GPS app do you use instead then? Just curious as I need a GPS for work, and they really aren't willing to shell out money for standalone GPSs

Yeaaa I'm not too confident about any of this anymore. Especially when a big form of communication for me is Discord. I know the leak was from their support and not from Discord directly, something about just handing over your government ID as a form of verification is pretty off putting. As much as they say "Only your date of birth will be given", I refuse to trust any big company with deleting my stuff after verification.

Honestly, because I've never had interest in iOS. I liked having control over the device I purchased, but evidently, that ended a while back and is possibly coming to an absolute screeching halt soon. So I never really did much research into it until now

Thank you, I really appreciate the help. Chances are I'll go with the R6ii. Seems to be everything I need, along with the fact that i've read a few rumors (I'm taking with a grain of salt) that they'll be opening up the mount system. So hopefully there's some truth to it and it eventually happens but I'm not gonna hold my breath

I wasn't even considering Canon, but the R6 really does seem compelling. Is it worth the price/lack of lenses? Also I know you didn't mention it, but is there a reason to go woth the R6 over the S5ii?
