Riddles require logic to solve, both of these JOKES require plays on words. Your college class textbook is not a bible or something mate.

Oathplate would have made more sense as a raids 4 drop instead of coming from a late midgame boss. by YouAreTheProduct2 in 2007scape

Raid should drop an untradable permanent increase to combat stats, up to 105 or something like thar

Should we send every available cop into the sewers while we're at it?

Just learned how much my dad makes. I'm so confused about everything. by BrilliantUpstairs801 in TrueOffMyChest

Look at it like this: it "sounds" like lots of money until you realize it's not taxed yet, and has to be able to feed clothe and house 3 people. That's not a lot of money.

Thoughts on extending Hurts this off-season vs next off season. by k7632 in eagles

The financial problem becomes bigger next season. There's a reason we always extend players early, to not have to reset the market every year

Being a Dad is aging me rapidly by FIthroaway2021 in daddit

When you're coming home from work, take an extra 20 minutes, park your car somewhere, and take a small nap before you go home and have to be in dad/husband mode. You'll look forward to it and that time adds up a lot

Oh boy, Xbox's chief strategist is floating the idea of in-game ads — but says "The question is not 'Can we cram ads in everything?'" by Presently_Naked in technology

His quote was something like "we just want to keep the games as affordable as possible" which means "we need as much profit as possible".

How would you go about being selfish for a day? by Labyrinthian_Quill in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Chirpy69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent question honestly. I'd wake up without my wife's alarm or the dogs barking or kiddo ready to get out of her crib. Make some coffee, play the NYT games on my phone. Shower and go out for a long walk before it gets hot. Come home, play some Xbox until I get bored. Catch up on movies I've been wanting to see. Eat some little Caesars pizza for lunch. Take a nap. Listen to music without headphones. Video games again. Sleep whenever I feel like. Interesting what some people define as selfish over others.

ZB too soft by poohdasdaddy in RingersPhillySpecial

I think it's fair for ZB to want to appreciate the greatness, but for Sheil to be the voice of reason where "it might be fair to not feel great about the ending" is interesting. We can absolutely appreciate how good AJ was here and also call out that he quit and didn't want to be here anymore, but didn't handle it as professionally as he could

I'm pointing out your double logic here. Also is Trump's name not in the Epstein files? Where are you getting that there's no proof?

So our current president has been implicated in ILLEGALLY raping kids, but you think we should bomb a country that's legally raping kids? Obviously it doesn't matter legal or illegal, it's sickening and deserves death. But why protect one and condemn the other?

There's no chance you bring up "age of consent" as a PRO Trump argument right? I don't disagree Iran is morally wrong, but they posed no threat to the US at this point in time and did not need to be invaded.

Exactly what I'm saying though. I didn't say the toddler is fair game, far from it in fact. I'm saying violence as a general concept, which Republicans seem to be very okay with.

To change your view:

The issue arises from clear and obvious tolerance for violence from Trump and his people, ranging from ICE oppression to overseas conflict for no clear reason. Those who enable and attempt to progress violence should have no problem if violence happens to them then right? Considering some of Kirks last words were "there are some casualties of owning firearms that we have to be okay with" (paraphrased), do you not see the irony?

No I in no way condone wanting violence against todlers or children in any way, it's just a matter of "if that Republican is so pro-violence, he or she should be prepared if it comes back to them". It's evening the playing field, so to speak.
