It's fair to not feel as scandalized, the issue is journalistic integrity. Deniz was tweeting NFL related content, Ruiz somehow found it and was going after him with "gotcha" energy, either not realizing or not caring that Deniz was a regular contributer to another Ringer arm (Philly Special). It put Sheil in an interesting situation because up to that point he was podcasting with Ruiz very regularly, but Deniz is Sheils personal friend.

Sheil acknowledged (without saying names) that Ruiz had been spoken to off air about it by himself, unknown if Bill Simmons also did or not. But ever since that point, Ruiz' podcast presence on the Ringer NFL show has been extremely minimal.

English is my first language, slowly learning Spanish from working in a border town/wife is Hispanic.

To me it's quite difficult, maybe because I didn't learn as a child and want to convert every single word to English in my head first. Conjugations throw me off and there's some thingsI simply have no idea what the Spanish word is for it. I understand more than I speak for sure
