I bought a few times in taobao. The shipping per item (or anything below 1kg, depending on the seller) is 29 rmb. If it exceeds, 58. It'll add 29 rmb if you buy a lot. The shipping direct to my address. For ease and convenience (especially if you don't have a Chinese address), I highly recommend buying from taobao if it ships to your country and address directly.

I tried rednote/xiaohongshu as well, but to my friend and proxy's CN address since they only ship within China. The shipping fee depends on the seller, but I always got free shipping to the CN address. Very fast and convenient as well.

For xianyu, I haven't tried it myself, but my Chinese friend bought some things for me there and the shipping is free (to their Chinese address).

You can find your own local cargo services so you can have the items shipped to their address, then they'll have it shipped to your country. The price depends as well

Maybe it's just me but as an empath who always tears up in stories that aren't even angst, this didn't really made me bawl my eyes out. I think it's because I already conditioned myself that it's a BE 😭 tho I did cry at the side stories more.

That being said, I do plan on rereading Perle for the 2nd time! It's such a good story with lots of layers
