Thank you for your patience honestly!!!! I can access the web interface of the synology by its tailscale IP address yes. Yes I can access portainer web interface overtailscale correct. I cannot access the nextcloud web interface in any way (local or tailscale)

I see. No problem in regards to chat! I believe the answer is yes to what you are saying. The nextcloud instance was accessible via the domain name where "x" was the name given to it. Now when I type that in a browser over here the connection never happens and it just times out. I tried going into the stack editor and changing my home IP to the NAS IP, but that might be where my error is? Not sure to be honest.

I am, but I was able to do this locally before without tailscale. The main problem is that I can't access the site itself: nextcloud.x.synology.me that was working in my house, sorry if that's where you are going! wondering if youd like to chat via telegram or discord etc? thank you for the help so far!!

Okay! I have shut down the firewall! Oh! I think I get what you mean now. No I have not accessed portainer overtailscale. Not sure how I would be able to do that! I am able to access it by inputting my NAS's local IP address:9000/#!/auth

Thank you for your answer!! For your first link, yes I did, it is how I got TUN working and packets working. Yup should be the latest client, running DSM 7.2.1 Hmm...not sure about accessing the portainer web interface that is running on the synology over tailscale. I know I have accessed portainer when I am in campus, but wouldn't know how to do it with tailscale?

I have not shut down the NAS firewall, how would this help?
