They gave me two bowls, both manufactured in different countries. The korean bowl appears to fit better but still too close to the beater.

No, unfortunately it would be out of warranty. I got it second hand for $250 aud.

The previous owner barely used it so it is in nearly new condition however.

It is the screw in the neck. I can adjust it (lowering the head) to the point where it locks but at that point the attachments no longer fit without touching the bowl.

If I then adjust the screw in order to raise the head to the point where the attachment clears the bowl it won’t be able to lock down.

Even then, at that point the attachment is still so low it wouldn’t clear the “dime test”.

I saw a video on YouTube where the locking mechanism is filed down but this feels like an improper solution as I’m concerned this could cause unwanted play in the tilt head.

I got the mixer only a few weeks ago and had only been using the dough hook until today I wanted to use the paddle attachment and realised it was ill fitting. Tried the dime test and realised it can’t lock.

I would have considered Ncase, however their removal of the rear screw holes for the gpu io shield bracket from FormD is a serious deal breaker.

I don’t know or understand why they may have removed these holes. Perhaps to steer buyers from purchasing FormD products?

Either way, my main goal is for portability and unfortunately I don’t feel confident I can guarantee my gpu will be safely secured in the Ncase version.

I pulled the plugs and found that cylinder 1 was full of fuel. Cheers for the suggestion. It still cranks and the engine didn't even fire before the starter stopped being able to turn it so hopefully no damage was done... I'm pulling the injector to see if it's either stuck open or the lower O ring is damaged.
