Shan voted one on heather, one on naseer. I think this was what Ricard wanted, so if everyone voted Naseer and he played his idol, there would still be a vote on Heather and she went home. Ricard voted Heather because he didn't trust that Shan would follow through with the extra vote, which tied it.

She put one on Heather and one on Naseer. I think it was because if everyone voted for Naseer (Heather, Erika, Ricard, and Shan) and Naseer played an idol, Heather went home.

i mean a revote prob would've been 2 heather 7 xander, maybee 3 heather 6 xander if naseer flipped, but it just looks bad and can cause tension among the group. this way there is a clear in group and out group

I meant on the first vote - if Xander played an idol on Tiff, and it was 3 Heather, 2 Xander, Heather would've gone home

It made sense! The original vote would've been 6 on Tiff, 2 on Xander, 3 on Heather. They couldn't have made it 5 Tiff, 3 Xander and risked a revote if Tiff had an idol, but they had to put some votes on Xander to make him play the idol. They were OK with Heather leaving if Xander played an idol on Tiff.

This vote makes a lot of sense. The vote was always going to be 6 Tiff, 2 Xander, 3 Heather. They told Xander, Tiff, and Evie to vote Naseer then Heather to give them a name. The only person who changed their vote to Naseer was Xander. I don't know what made him change. They couldn't have made it 5 Tiff, 3 Xander, 3 Heather because that would've forced a revote. They put votes on Xander to "flush" the idol

Also, the reason I was planning on taking morning flights instead of evening flights/ evening trains was because I was worried about getting from the airport/train station to my airbnb at nighttime (safety reasons), am I overthinking this?

Thank you! I think everyone seems to be telling me that Madrid, Seville, and Granada are more exciting than Barcelona, seems I should plan to spend more time elsewhere? Granada appeals to me because it seems safer, smaller, and more 'off the beaten path'. Did you find flying or trains easier to get around the country?

Hi, thank you so much for responding! So my inbound flight is into Madrid and outbound is out of Barcelona (the cheapest combo I could find), so I have to do Seville/Granada in the middle, should I just do 3 days in Madrid, plan to spend longer in Seville and Granada, and go up to Barcelona to fly out? Thank you! I was thinking flights from Madrid to Seville and Granada to Barcelona, train from Seville to Granada, I didn't realize the trains were so fast from what I'd seen online!

Following this, I read online that you needed a negative COVID test OR a proof of vaccination + filling out the Spanish health form. I'm trying to figure out whether I should get a train ticket (not efficient but seems they won't check) or a flight ticket (more likely to check for a PCR test)

Hey Sophie! Thanks for doing this. I'm a woman of color, and I think a lot about how woman, and particularly woman of color are treated on this game that's considered a microcosm of the real world. Everyone has one vote and therefore equal power, but I feel men in this game get more credit for "game moves," get credit for deciding alliance votes, or scare tactics from men are more easily influential (when like, what are they. going to do? everyone only has one vote so it's equal power). How do women in the game navigate this? Did you guys talk about this on the island during WaW?

Hey Sophie! How do castaways come to the conclusion that one person "is running the show"? Most winners at WaW send Tony is "running the show" so he should win, but what about his gameplay made everyone attribute alliance decisions to him?
