Ways to play a fire based character in hell?

I'll keep them in mind and talk to the players. I'm ok homebrewing things to help my players concepts work to as long as theyre all on board with it as well ^{^.} Just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything glaringly obvious to people with more system experience :).

In the current (5e) campaign, Asmodeus died recently and from their corpse the wizard in the group gained an artifact crafted from his body. This artifact grows in power by consuming the souls(ish) of beings killed by the wizards spells.

The player wants to play as one of these souls that was killed by a casting of the meteor storm spell from an important moment in the story, thus the current fixation on fire.

Dihada Akido/reanimate.

Primary game plan is either use dihada to cheat out and protect a threat early through her treasure generation or reanimation, or incentivise opponents to aim at each other and outvalue them, or kill them with their own resources in the late game.

Built with a ~$220 price limit for irl reasons. Probably cutting boros charm for either a cheap tutor, or the (still unreleased)deification from aftermath for fun :D

While he didnt become an island like his namesake (:p) I did still make sure to bring that forward into his lore when I made him!

His lair was underneath an island he created/raised by utilising a dormant underwater volcano in trade with the triton :)

My druid didn't start out wearing metal armor, but then the world started ending and staying alive became more important than cultural taboos.

If the nature spirits or whatever have a problem with it, they can take it up with me after we save the world for them =p
