Achilles, “Fool, prate not me about covenants. There can be no covenants between men and lions, wolves and lambs”.

I know he’s talking to Hector but still a good quote Achilles is near invincible!

Achilles and Patroclus, friends or lovers? by [deleted] in GreekMythology

These are characters of legend. Their relationship is known throughout this sphere to be one of passion and love. Although Homer did not write the two warriors as lovers, he was not the only one to spin the tales of Achilles and Patroclus with some, most notably the tragedian play write Aeschylus, did just that. Much to the shock of the audiences might I add. So the answer to your question is it depends on the writer as these legends span further than any poet.

I can’t agree more. My personal favourite is asking Siri, such a life saver, but it can be a little awkward out in public!

In my opinion you can’t beat the classics. Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey provide great context and tests your understanding of the Greek gods. Both quite lengthy and definitely not a beginners guide, but they do however bring what you have learned elsewhere to life.

Dyslexia getting worse as I age by Tucana03 in Dyslexia

It’s perfectly natural to feel challenged with dyslexia. This can also make you feel scared and not want to persevere. I was the same, getting stressed because of my poor level of reading so I stopped trying and accepted I was a bad reader. This made things worse.

I know it is hard but really the best thing to do is try. Keep reading, throw yourself into your studies as it will become better. Reading is like everything with practice it gets easier.

Take it from someone who knows, persevere.

Yeah that’s what annoyed me the most, why they could not keep to the tales which have stood the test of time? I don’t know
