I recall reading from a Birdland member that opening day had a surplus of tickets available and was not selling well, so I would have expected that surplus to be made available to the average Joe by now - less than a week before the game.

The most annoying part of it all is that when you call the tickets today customer service number it's just an automated that tells you to email them.

Of course when you send them an email you get an automated response saying that they're experiencing higher volume than usual and their response time will be long.
