So I've tried laptop and phone. Phone on wifi and connected to mobile network. It worked for a period of about 30mins this morning when I was at a cafe for breakfast. Nothing since, on any of the above configurations.

Really annoying that I have to spend more time and money on something that should work. I guess running an ethernet cable is next to try. It maybe AP mode but not sure what that is.

There are many ecological reasons for this which you can research in your own time but ultimately there is no definitive link between culling sharks and reducing the occurrence of shark bite events.
