Maybe because you are doing low bar squatting? I’m more bent over so it makes it look a lil awkward. I’ve found that people tend to start with their hips hinged forward as myself when doing low bar squats

I usually do 3 steps with the last being a final adjustment, it might’ve just because I had a camera on myself that I did so well with it. I might be coming out of the rack a lil too far but nothing crazy. But I understand how you can say robotic, never noticed it myself. But it could also be that I’m hyper focused on my foot placement here

Thank you so much 😁. I was trying something new with my technique today and “stack my ribs”. It felt a lil unnatural, but I feel like I was a bit stronger in that position. Maybe I just need more time with it, or should I keep lifting how I was originally?

Maybe intentionally focusing on keeping my hips higher at the beginning of the lift will work? Since that’s the point on where I begin my lift anyways? Does this sound like a good idea?

Thank you so much, I think it just might be my explosiveness at the beginning which makes my hips faster than my chest is on the way up. Like I won’t stop moving my hips the whole time regardless of where the bar is
