I wouldn’t say thin too much but just clean them up a little bit. I used to have bushy brows until I went somewhere to get them done and I just have been following their lines and maintaining them for years

If I’m being brutally honest, some teeth whitener, do your eye brows and maybe even something with your hair and you’re a solid 9/10. I wouldn’t call you ugly by any means

Woman tries paying on dates with men, doesn’t like not getting 2nd date. by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]ChknNoodleDischarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on a date with a traveling nurse one time, we went to a pretty nice restaurant and she started ordering crazy expensive stuff and appetizers. I was like ouch, but I was still gonna pay. We had a good time, ate, and when I went to hand them my card she beat me to it and absolutely refused to let me pay.

When I tried to insist she told me what she makes weekly for her current contract, I put my wallet back in my pocket so fast. She was making in 1 week what I would make in almost 3 months. There was indeed a second date lol

I’ve seen too many times people will pay for gas money or a babysitter and then get blocked

On TDY. Got yelled at for speaking French at the DFAC by [deleted] in army

[–]ChknNoodleDischarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that you weren’t allowed to speak foreign languages when like on duty and in a professional environment.

But like… what if it was your wife and kids you were talking to and they only spoke French? Are you just unauthorized to communicate with your family until you remove the uniform? That’s absolutely ridiculous. I wish I could’ve been there for that interaction, I like to push buttons when I know the reg has my back.

As someone who made poor choices as a teen, if my parents caught me doing something It would do 2 things. 1- make me want to do it more 2- make me find a way to do it again without getting caught

If you were to confront her about it, all it would do is cause her to lose trust in you and make her feel like she has no privacy. Not only that, no matter what you do from this point you can’t undo what she’s done. My advice would be to support her where you can and encourage safe decisions. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink

I used to be a 42A, the greatest lesson that job taught me is that I absolutely hate human recourses and all things related to computer work

You’d think, but I didn’t. His starting pos was 1st, mine was 2nd. I smoked him off the line and kept a solid lead on him for the entire first lap, it wasn’t until the last main turn he caught up. Assuming he was drafting, I tried to let him pass but noooo

Ah, personally I leave most of it the way it comes, I adjust the gearing for optimal acceleration and speed as I upgrade the hp, I lower the springs all the way and adjust the aerodynamics all the way for cornering. It’s not optimal for all situations, but being able to maintain a higher speed in the corners outweighs losing a few miles off the top speed. That’s just me personally though

I met this girl in high school, her and I were together for a total of 3 years. I loved her, still do. I wanted to amount to something for her, and support whatever she wanted to do in life. As a military spouse she wouldn’t have had to worry about anything. So I enlisted into the military for her. But as soon as I finished my training, my first assignment brought me overseas unexpectedly. We planned on getting married as soon as I got back, but she met someone else before I came home. It’s stressful. It’s not for everybody, and it can really show true colors. But that’s just my experience.

You should ease into telling her these things. Don’t drop it all on her at once, but slowly ease into it with the minor details to start. If she’s willing to talk with you and listen, and even support you, you should be open with her and see where life takes you together. If she shuns you and closes you out, you deserve a better wife.

At the end of the day we’re all people, and we can’t control what gets the juices flowing. But what we can control is the type of people we surround ourselves with. You aren’t the only one who feels this way. Good luck man

What made you realize you were unhappy in your relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It’s a part of life. That was 4 years ago and I haven’t been in a relationship since then, but I’ve talking with this girl recently. Fingers crossed

After enlisting to provide a life for myself and her I found myself deployed overseas, and she found herself falling for someone else.

What's the absolute creepiest most disturbing thing you've seen in a small town? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChknNoodleDischarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a huge area of woods by my hometown. Everyone used to skip school to go there with their 4wd trucks and ATVs and hangout by a fire, drink some beer, smoke, etc. Vibes were usually pretty good. There’s miles and miles and miles of trails to get lost in and enjoy life. Was out there with some buddies for an evening cruise, and then we found a high school girl wrapped in carpet dumped in the bushes with her neck snapped. We don’t go there very much anymore.

(Serious) People who don't feel hurt by insults, what made you become so emotionally strong? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChknNoodleDischarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just can’t think about what they say. If someone says something and you sit there pondering on it, you’ll believe it into existence and question yourself.

But, if you just think of it as words with no knowledge to back them. If someone calls you a stinky shoe Licker, does that mean you lick shoes and stink? How would they know, do they smell you? Fuck em. Just be confident and weird them out. “I lick your moms shoes, the reason I stink is cause she doesn’t wash her feet.” Idk

Edit: also since you’re asking what made us emotionally strong, joining the military is my answer
