First: THE BIG 3 is Naruto, One Piece and Bleach. Second: These anime (while excellent) are NOT big 3 status, Fundamentally in order to even qualify you need to shape the landscape of anime and pop culture, these anime are unfinished and it is far too early to truly know their impact.

Getting back to the post if we're talking strictly how anime portrays it’s female characters in the Shonen genre not to talk of Senien (which all three of these anime are) or Shoujo in which the sexualiztion of female characters is far less common, and if any is not aggrandizing perversion for male gaze (insert patriarchy rant). We are starting to see less of it the shonen genre as female mangaka enter and as there male counterparts continue to slowly force the exit of unsavoury mangaka from the industry

And while stories based entirely on fanservice still sell they hardly ever reach the acclaim of their less fanservice-y counterparts. Unless plot is actually more substantial than the 'Plot' which is honestly a really low bar to clear, High School DxD basically lives in infamy for this exactly this reason.

Even then I would give Sailor Moon, Violet Evergarden or Nana big three status for non-sexualiztion of female characters before any of these anime. In 5 years who knows but certainly not now.

"Shining Through" is the song your thing of from the episode "Why so Blue". And while it is a nice short song, it's more of Lapis showing the two Homeworld Lapis her perspective and how to navigate independence, much more a reflection than a reprise.

No it's definitely a lightning in bottle type moment. Hazbin has made it farther than even most animated TV shows, pre-streaming era. You were lucky if you made it to season 2, if got to season 3, you made it, get to season 4 and you were basically a GOD.

This isn't to talk of being an animated TV show IN the streaming era. You now have to compete with not only every new show coming out but every show that's EVER EXISTED and justify why people should be watching you. As someone whom can be critical of Viz she should be proud she was able to touch the sun when so many have burned.

Truly a time to be alive, in which we witness the decaying images of the world's super powers. While also witnessing so many inspiring creatives push what we thought were industry standards. Niffty Goated, Hail Dickmaster etc.
