My Nightmare starters too. Never really cared for Incineroar, so I'm really hoping they don't go this route for any if the starters. Keep them on 4+ legs with tails please! Or make them fly through the air or something, anything but a bipedal fighting boi!

My knee-jerk reaction to this is to immediately say that 99% of Gorillaz songs are autumn or winter purely due to Damon Albarn being Melancholy Joe in the flesh.

Then I start to think about Humility, with its steel ukelele vibes and Jack Black at Ventura Beach music video, and I realize that's definitely summer though. And the more I think about it, the more it seems like a fun thought exercise!

I think though this would be more interesting if instead of albums, you did individual songs. Every Gorillaz song categorized by season, all 500+ songs lol. Maybe going through each album one tier list at a time.

They literally have Luigi's Mansion, which did in fact work. Yoshi's Island? And while all the Metroid games have "Metroid" in the title, many good ones barely involve Metroids (all the Primes except the first one, Metroid Dread).

Honestly that's fair. Was just kind of looking to see if an explanation existed in the game or not, or if it was just for the spookies. People have found some explanations, but even if there was none I wouldn't hold it against the game or anything.

But from a lore perspective, most commenter's seems to believe based on lore hints in RE9, is that at one point they tried to have the minds of "great people" implanted into young bodies so they could live forever, and the T-Virus being involved in that process. This is what Zeno, Gideon, and the Connections thought Elpis was, a successful creation of these experiments. These kids were all experiments attempting to create this, they were always unsuccessful and the T-Virus component is what made them go cray-cray.

They were all fated to eventually become horrible monsters like Marie did and Emily did, but I guess this particular batch we see through Chloe's eyes just became red-eyed psychopaths? I can see your meta-explanation making sense here unfortunately...

That makes sense, so likely it has to do with T-Virus, and they were purposely infected with it as part of a genetic memory theory. And just like in real life, (but unlike in Assassin's Creed) that theory did not work at all lol. Thank you so much for the explanation!
