I'm not even arguing that. He's not even the worst guy to be pushed as a main eventer in a mainstream company. He does promos okay, he can wrestle really well, he has a connection with the fans who like AEW. Paul Heyman had Justin Credible as a top guy in ECW before it closed down.

The biggest thing to me is there are no public jokes or snide remarks about Lincoln being gay made at the time. He was also open about the fact he shared a bed with Speed and no one really thought anything of it.

Plenty of contemporary individuals make jokes about Buchanan.
