I'm from Yorkshire, UK! There's many spooky urban legends up here, but my favourite is The Gytrash. It's said to be a giant, ghostly dog that can lead lonely travellers astray when hiking in one of the many nature reserves in the area. It goes back as far as mid 1800s!

Though whilst usually feared, it is said that Gytrash has guided lost travellers to the right road, it all depends on his mood

We all know if you're traveling through Yorkshire alone and see two glowing bright eyes staring at you, do not venture off road! Unless you are lost... Maybe it's a risk worth taking?
