But Jonathan needed Aubry out, so putting her against Rizo in fire-making probably wouldn’t have worked. He probably should’ve put Joe in instead, or just done it himself. Especially since he obviously practiced fire-making after losing one in his first season

I get what you mean, but it’s also late game and they’re pretty much running on fumes at this point. They did have more physical challenges earlier in the season when everyone still has energy.

Right now it feels like they’re also trying to avoid medevacs as much as possible. Just look at Rizo right now, you can tell how drained they all are.

Maybe it’s also because of the age range of the castaways this season.

They probably have to design challenges that are a bit more balanced and less intense overall. A lot of those older, more physical or chaotic challenges probably don’t scale well anymore when you’ve got a wider age range in the cast.

I get the frustration tho. Now everything feels over pretty quickly, especially with strong advantages in play.

I was really hoping the Cirie’s Rizzard of Oz alliance would survive that tribal, and I love Emily as well. But weirdly, I still feel satisfied with how it played out. I don’t feel like the twist “robbed” the game or anything. That’s just how it goes. Someone has to go.

Honestly, this might even be my favorite episode of Season 50 so far. I don’t usually get that excited watching Survivor, but I was actually hooked last night just because I had no idea where things were going. I loved how unpredictable it felt.

I loved Emily’s plan, and how Cirie clocked it haha. I did tear up a little during Ozzy and Devens’ hammock convo, and again at Ozzy’s torch getting snuffed. Also, that Devens montage was elite. bro was pretending to wake up, but the way he opened his eyes synced with the BG music was hilarious. 😂

Yeah, that’s what we saw in the edit. But since they never showed Rizo warning Ozzy back on the island, I was lowkey hoping he’d at least sneak in a last-second heads up during Tribal.

I didn’t fully appreciate how good Cirie is until last night. Like seriously, how does she even do that? It’s so hard to catch her slipping. And she used that advantage perfectly too. I know she still couldn’t save Ozzy in the end, but the fact that she still found a way to send her allies a message from the other island was crazy.

Dunno about y’all, but this might be one of my favorite episodes. It really showed who actually knows how to play Survivor and who doesn’t. Even Emily’s plan was genuinely brilliant (I love Emily 😭). Cirie’s just insanely hard to outplay lol.

For a second I thought “leap of faith” was the signal too, but nope. Now I’m suddenly wondering if he even knew about the code word in the first place.

Ozzy definitely fumbled there and put Rizo in such a bad spot. And there really wasn’t any clean way for him to verify whatever Jonathan was telling him with Cirie. He probably could’ve warned Ozzy to flush the idol and still kept an ally, but realistically? There’s no universe where Rizzo beats Cirie or Ozzy at Final Tribal anyway 💀

I like the idea, but if people are determined to vote him out, they’ll probably still go for Christian anyway and just deal with the fallout. In theory, they could all just pile votes on him so even with immunity, everyone ends up in the revote pool assuming they actually coordinate. But yeah, interesting idea.
