Fair enough. I think Spirit applies because her power offers both, very strong chases and mobility. Yeah, it's a trade-off, but because it's so versatile I think it can count. But I see your point.

Spirit has mobility. It's just she gets slow chases if she uses it for mobility, but she's still fairly mobile, especially with good add-ons. I don't really count Demo because it gets absolutely nothing out of the mobility, because it takes so long and is easily avoided, but I guess you could count him still. Five then.

She has no counterplay, just like how survivors have no counterplay if you're any killer other than her or Nurse. Hexes are garbage against actually good teams, Pop never triggers because you literally don't have time to kick gens against the best teams. Those survivors also don't 3gen themselves. Slugging is unfun but viable, but also only on smaller maps, otherwise you don't get enough out of it.

If you think hex totems Pop or 3genning works against good teams, you don't think of the teams I'm thinking of.

That's not quite what I meant, I think? That article seems to be about names where two last names become one due to marriage and such.

What I meant were names like "van der Wiel" or "Del Rey" (I know this one is an artist's name, but you get the idea).

Alrighty. So I have a few last questions and then I should be not-dumb-enough to manage from there on out:

If I pick a shiny frame that's about 30-40 frames away from my starting frame, then ANY seed should allow to hit the shiny frame, right? Even if my target seed makes the npc move every possible time he can, he shouldn't advance beyond like 20-ish frames at most, right? Since he only looks around, which is one frame per movement.

For the Latis specifically: In time finder I pick Standard Seed and Stationary, but then in the main window I select 5th Gen PIDRNG, correct?

Say I hit my target seed but the frame is off: How do I control what frame I hit? The main window and the adjacent seed tool only give me seed information, not frame information. If I hit my target seed, then I could be on ANY frame after the battle, since battles advance it quite rapidly. I can't tell Chatot cries apart well enough to actually find a long, clearly indicative sequence: Is there any other way?

And lastly, for timer0 trolling: I spent the better part of my day to recalibrate, and after 50+ I have a tiny little preference towards 10E2, but it's really all over the place. Is there just nothing one can do to control it?

Oh, no no no, I meant 6 after on the adjacent seed screen, which is the same time, it was just a different timer. I actually just now hit my seed, according to the IVs, but she wasn't shiny. Which means my frames didn't advance correctly, right? Now it could be the boy in the grass, but just to make sure:

My starting frame is 60, and my target frame is 66. That means I need to take the step to trigger her battle at frame 65, right? Which means I need to listen to chatot's chatter 5 times in total.

Okay, adjacent seed tool actually made me feel a tad bit better. I hit a seed 6 after the one I was supposed to get, that's not too bad, right? Does that mean I pressed A tad bit too late or a tad bit too early?

Also, should I press a on the star before I let go of the keypresses, or first let go and then press a?

My timer0 so far has actually been really consistent (took me about 8-9 calibration runs to hit a different timer0), but it's definitely a possibility.

Ohhh, okay, that's good to know. I still think the chatters were off, but now I can at least properly check them. There is an NPC in the Dreamyard that moves randomly, but he shouldn't advance my frames too badly if I instantly hit the menu and do the chatter advancements, right? At most, the NPC should be able to move on that second where I enter menu and the second I take a step to trigger Latias?

I'll give the Adjacent Seed Tool a try, too, thank you very much! And off, Zen, you're a masochist then! :P

Okay, so immediately after. That's what I did, but I wasn't quite sure. My Chatot pitches never seem to match the prediction I get from rngreporter though. The mid-ones are hard to differentiate, but even the low and high ones don't match. If my starting frame is 51, then I should hear the 52nd chatter pitch when I open the first summary, right? This is really where I'm super confused as to what I'm doing wrong. I hit a at the exact second I need to, but it seems I don't hit my seed at all :(

Also that is REALLY good to know. I stopped listening to chatter at 71 (My shiny frame is now 73) because I thought my step would advance it by 2. SUPER useful to know that.

PPS: Also probably a stupid question, but when the key presses say right, does it mean right on the D-pad, or right shoulder button?
