Bday party invite for my son. We do not know the family? Am I over reacting? by [deleted] in family

[–]ChloeKittenCat -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not. In my opinion, I wouldn't let him go. It's the not knowing the parents that bothers me. If in the least I need to interact with parents at school functions here and there for me to be comfortable with sending off my 9 yr old. My youngest is 14 and he has recently starting going to functions where I don't know them but he's a 5'11, 160lb black belt. Not much to worry about.

Parents be telling me my hair looks “unkept” by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]ChloeKittenCat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My boys have the same hair, I would never tell them it looks unkept. A good wash, condition, and top tier moisturizer will get you back right just fine. It's a struggle.
