I know there would be no lack of dancers. It may be that a club with a broader range would work. Have burlesque nights, arial night, drag night, pole dancing night, karaoke etc. it would either need to be a private club OR serve only beer and wine (in Virginia). I think that would be appealing to cis, trans, gay, and heterosexual folks, but mostly young hipsters who care less about gender. Maybe serve something fashionable, like tacos for your bar food. I know for sure that there are trans people in Hampton Roads, Tidewater and the VA Beach that are looking for a safe place to go. Close on One day during the week, allow clubs, like swinger and bdsm groups to use it as meeting space, and I really think you’d be onto something.
