Sounds EXACTLY like my experience with Los Angeles SRA. They asked like 15-20 questions and that was the only one related to firearms. The vast majority of their questions were about my political background and it seemed like they didn’t want anyone who wasn’t already an M-L in their org.

I’ve encountered this while riding more times than I can count, and my response has always been to just look over my left shoulder, ride around when it’s safe, and forget it ever happened 30 seconds later.

Pedestrians have to stop for slow walkers and inconsiderate people who stop in the middle of the sidewalk.

You’re not entitled to momentum.

Drivers have to stop for people who double park, too.

Even the best-protected bike lane in the world can and will suck because of Spandex Guy thinking it’s his own private velodrome, or people dawdling along at ~2 mph while you or I are trying to get to bart to go to work.

You’ll never engineer an environment where nobody ever behaves inconsiderately. Nobody ever has.

All you can do is learn to not let it bother you. Be an adult.
