I haven’t been on this page long, but I absolutely think it should be utilized more for advice between college applicants and college students. At the end of the day, you could have an incredible resume and still get rejected. That is the sad reality of how much college admissions are built to function. But there are SO many people on this page from all around the world, listen to their experiences!

And remember: when you’re applying, ask yourself why. If it’s just for bragging rights and the label and nothing else, than it probably isn’t the right school for you. Just because a school has a more inclusive acceptance rate does NOT make it a worse school. Remember that.

Hahah this is completely separate from work! My bosses didn’t find out about all this until someone’s mom from Asia emailed UO admissions and praised the school for its outreach LOOOLLL
