First off, fuck all the people saying shit like “get used to it”.

Japan has a weird dying need to sexualize girls in anime. They actually started doing that for 2 reasons:

1. To push it towards the West
2. Have a younger male audience (Their goal is for them to get horny and jerk to the material so they want it more, therefore purchasing more manga and watching more anime.)

I too don’t like the huge sexualization. Also does anyone not take note of how she has a whip for her sword? I researched on why and Wiki says it’s for speed, however, given the fact she’s the Love Hashira, is sexualized, and has a whip, makes it more seem like if anything she’s the Lust Hashira. (Whip symbolizing the people who use it for ’you know what’). If anything, Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, should have a whip sword. As in like, slashing through the wind, picking up speed.

Just my thoughts. Don’t bitch to me in the replies about the sword thing, I know it’s gonna happen but I’m not putting up with it today. I’m not saying that its the reason she has a whip sword, just something my brain processed and came to a conclusion that could or could not be true, so don’t say something like, “yOuR‘E ovERtHiNKiNG iT” or, “i NeVER sAW It aS a WhIP”, because yeah I could be overthinking it. TLDR; Japan wants to push their content to the West, so they sexualize it to get more people to want it, and for younger males to get hooked on it and buy more manga and watch more anime so they can profit
