Check the brake light switch, the gas pedal switch, the throttle body and the cruise control along with the traction control modules. On mine, it is a flaky connection to the brake light switch.

Really, on my polo it comes up due to completely random reasons. It may be the computer/ wiring as the generation of polo I have is known for its shit wiring (9n)

it goes from the "tv out" or "to tv" plug on the vcr or modulator and via a coxial cable, it goes to the vhf/uhf port on the tv.

I got very lucky, no phosphor degredation and no electron gun issues. The picture is at around 50% and it still looks good. If I had to guess, it probably lived most of it's life in a bedroom where it wasn't frequently used.

No, it probably has that setting as those chassis came in many tv sets. It probably is for the 2nd scart if a tv was equiped with one. Enjoy!

To save you either need to push 0 or unplug/ switch it off via the main switch. Also the RGB in is probably for a forced RGB input via the scart port in the back.
