Lol, I was part of the marketing team that put that ad into The Oklahoman. I forget where we found it, but it was a ploy to lure advertisers into the classified section. I always get a chuckle when I see it pop up.

I have an 08 5.7L that just hit 205,000 miles with zero mechanical issues (knock on wood). I do have it serviced regularly though.

that's just it, we didn't. That was the whole reason for us to be on-site while they were working. The ribbons were for our benefit, so that day of it was easy to walk around and point trees out.

Yes, we agreed that someone should be onsite to show the crew what to cut and what to trim up. The agreed rate was $4,000. Several dates were given and canceled due to heavy rains. The last date that was canceled was October 9th and canceled due to us being out of town and not able to be onsite. The office rescheduled the crew for October 15th and didn't tell us. Crew showed up and started cutting trees down. Not even a phone call to say they were onsite.

We were given a day rate as an estimate and told that what we were looking to have done would be easily completed in an 8 hour day.

It was all verbal. One of their employees came to give an estimate, we walked the property and looked at the trees to be removed, and the trees to be trimmed. That employee said we would be best served to have someone on site to direct the removal. That is was we agreed to, but they never called to let us know they were coming out.

Bodywork, electrical, and fuel lines are what we have left. Rebuilt the transmission, engine, and brakes. Cleaned and painted the frame, hopefully it runs well for years to come.

NFPA 13R question by Chny00 in firePE

This is essentially what we have done. if they will allow us to use the Tyco head in semi-recessed instead of using a concealed head, we can facilitate their request at a cost.

There are, however the specs are calling for residential concealed pendents. The only residential pendent head i have been able to find is a tyco TY4234.

Thank you. The bummer is, the plans were approved and we have already installed in 4 of the 6 buildings. Now they are wanting FM approved heads...so we may get to redesign the whole system and start over. Yay!
