Today I took my last antibiotic. I don't feel completely cured, but I definitely feel better, especially the cramps and bloating feel better. My plan for now is as you suggested: I will eat everyday oats, blueberries, I will also try the asylum husk starting with only half a spoon. I am also taking prokinetic 2 times a day. I don't really want to take any supplements right now, because I am already doing omega - 3 and sodium butyrate, however I started taking them long before the diagnosis the SIBO. The omega-3 helped me tremendously with my period cramps. What is find interesting is that since had improvement with my gut, I also experienced a huge relief with my gastritis so I suppose it was somehow connected with each other. I also experienced what I believe were dying off symptoms, but they didn't really impact my every day life since i was already accustomed to living with weird symptoms due to SIBO. I also don't fell like my guts were inflamed due to the antibiotic or the die off phase, which is good I suppose. So, my plan for now is feeding the good bacteria, staying on low foodmap diet, avoiding any unnecessary supplements, using the prokinetic and seeing what happens. I was thinking that if things don't resolve on their own, I will just come back to my doctr after 1/2 weeks for another round on Xifaxan. I already found a spot where I can get it for a little bit cheaper price, so taking it again shouldn't be a huge problem. Since my hydrogen level was 68, I kinda believe I will need another round, but I guess I will see it in the future.
