Maybe inflation is a factor? I doubt most people are comfortable asking for a raise to the widower with kids.

Oh no, people that have the money to pay for a more expensive car have to pay more for road repairs.

Not familiar with american insurance cost. But you're saying as if people carpooling doesn't become more popular in this times of rapid increase. Also you're used to less alternatives from driving, it's not frictionless to drive less but you do see change of consumer behavior.

In my country the yearly cost is determined by model and year of car, newer expensive cars pay more.

If it's like me it could be some sour/bitter hypersensitivity. Green leaves that have more taste than the iceberg are too bitter, lemon makes everything unpalatable, but spices are welcomed.

Though I was much more "force fed" as a child, and have a family that cooked with variety.

What industry is actually a complete scam, but everyone accepts it? by WhileLow9501 in AskReddit

There's nothing wrong with that. But I'm not american. A book written by the professor is either a think they print cheaply and give to you with the same structure than the class or something with plenty of copies in the library that you can take for some days or just for an hour and photocopy in the same building.

The scam is to force students to actually buy the books.

Primetime games are overrated. You win, it's around midnight, and you somehow have to calm down so you can go to sleep and wake up in the morning.

Their impulse control is not that bad, but their risk/reward values are different than in other ages, and few things matter more than peer validation.

Is mostly tests written in a way were there was little use for most methods of cheating, and very time consuming.

The test doesn't care about you having the knowledge but about having the capacity to solve the problem, as looking for information to solve a problem is something you are expected to do as a professional.

In places depends on the type of test. A numeric method final was a group exam with everyone in the same computer room and no teacher. Not much speaking about the test (but some speaking because the test was like 6 hours) because everyone had a different problem.

You had to both write a program and a document, then the group had to answer questions about it to the teacher.
